September 5, 2007: Participated in the "Master's Class in Laparoscopic Suturing in the Vertical Zone" course at the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons (SLS) Meeting and Endo Expo in San Francisco, CA.
August 16, 2007: Dr Haluck was invited to give a presentation on an Intracranial Hematoma/Burr Hole and Trauma Flap Simulator at the Department of Defense's Advanced Technology Applications for Combat Casualty Care (ATACCC). The simulator is a joint project with the National Capital Area Medical Simulation Center
August 7, 2007: Verefi Exhibited at the Duke University School of Nursing's Technology Integration Program for Nursing Education and Practice (TIP-NEP). The annual event showcases currently available medical simulation and training tools.
June 18-20, 2007: Verefi demonstrated at the Society in Europe for Simulation Applied to Medicine (SESAM) in Copenhagen, Denmark.
May 9, 2007: Verefi participated in the Medical Simulation Exhibition on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. Organized by the Advanced Initiatives in Medical Simulation (AIMS), the annual event is designed to raise awareness of medical simulation among members of Congress and their staff.
April 19-21, 2007: Verefi exhibited at the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) in Las Vegas, NV. We introduced several new modules and features in Head2Head and LapFAST, including realistic anatomy and new cooperative tasks.
January 15-17, 2007: Verefi exhibited at the International Meeting on Medical Simulation (IMMS) in Orlando, FL.
